JanaGanaMana song not be used as a Caller Tune

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) India has directed mobile service providers and value added software companies not to offer the national anthem as a caller tune.According to the to the directive providing 'Jana Gana Mana' the Indian national anthem as caller tune is a a violation of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971.
